About

The new location at Northside Harvest Park

HCFM is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to increase the supply, demand and access to healthy, local food in Spartanburg County.  We work to eliminate barriers to healthy eating such as access, cost and education. Our focus is on direct service programs, indirect service working with partner organizations, and advocating for policies that impact both the farmer and the consumer.

HCFM operates farmer’s markets, but also supports community gardens, coordinates training and networking opportunities for farmers, and more. We strive to be Spartanburg’s resource for everything fresh produce and local food: growing, shopping, preparing, and enjoying!
